The Terrell County 4-H Club is gearing up for their 2nd Annual Auction scheduled for this Saturday at
“We are expecting to surpass last year’s totals on
the auction,” County Extension Agent Mark Carroll said. “We have more large items such as cars, trucks, trailers and equipment.”
Many
of the cars are drug-seizure cars sold from the Terrell County Sheriff’s office. They are also numerous consignments from the local
residents, the county road & bridge department and the school district.
Carroll said the proceeds from the sale will used to send
4-Hers to camp and other educational project activities.
“We are looking forward to the community coming out to support
our club at the sale this Saturday,” Carroll said. “
The club will be taking in consignment items from 9 am to 5 pm this Thursday and
will continue excepting items from 9 am until 12 pm on Friday. The sale will begin at 10 am on Saturday and a concession stand will
be available for food and drinks.
