"To Make the Best Better"
The Texas AgriLife Extension Service office in Terrell County will conduct a Predator Awareness Workshop on Oct. 20 at the Terrell County Community
Center.
"Fewer large-scale sheep and goat operations in West Texas mean more predator problems for those who are still hanging on,"
said Mark Carroll, AgriLife Extension agent in Terrell County. "The purpose of
this workshop is to bring area producers up-to-date on what tools and personnel are available to help them protect their flocks and
wildlife from the steadily growing predator population."
Workshop topics will include predator awareness; investigating physical evidence
of predation; and predator control methods.
Registration for the workshop will begin at 1:30
pm and the program will start at 2 pm. The workshop is open to all residents, for more information call the Terrell County Extension

Food Show scheduled for December 5th in el Paso.
